I've purchased multiple keychain diamond dot kits before and been very happy with them. This kit I was expecting to be the same quality since it had the metal chain and latches. But sadly it is not.The base is cardboard not the stiff plastic of previous kits; which means the flex in it causes the gems to fall off more easily. There was adhesive missing in some places so the gem wouldn't stick and I'll have to use glue to finish them. The packaging of the gems themselves had some of the gems stuck in the actual packaging, as well as some packages having more than one kind of bead. One of the key chains had a clasp stuck on it. Most of those issues one can work around, but it is frustrating. Most of the gold dots had extra finish sticking out, which just looks awful and makes it hard to fit the beads around them.Overall just not good quality. It's fun, quick and easy, so if you are looking for a quick activity and you don't mind the fact that, unlike many kits, the colors on the base don't come close to the colors of the beads (so you have to pay more attention to the numbers) it could be fun. But I don't expect to give these as gifts as I could the others. Not sure what to do with them really.Pictures show beads stuck inside package seams, extra clasp on chain, the variety of beads inside one of those packages that should have only been the gold beads, and the gold beads with the edges that stick out instead of ending cleanly at the base.The hearts and elephants are a nice size and they are fun to do. One small thing to mention is that after you complete both sides of the heart or elephant, the raw edges are unfinished, looks like white cardboard. Since the backgrounds are black, and to have a finished look, I simply used a black sharpie along the white edges. The sharpie dries fast and now the edges are nice. I thought about black fingernail polish, but the sharpie was so easy. Also, the chain and clips are not shiny but kind of brushed metal...They are nice.Super simple!!! They are perfect for children or anyone wanting an easy to see project. The kits are individually wrapped, using different beads in each set. Perfect if wanting to give sets as a gift.I bought this for Christmas gifts and you can also stick them on your refrigerater and different surfaces when you do only one side ,Didn’t come with any instructions and the colors on the hearts don’t correspond to their respective # on the rhinestone packets. Tried it with a 7 and 8 year old - too much for them to deal with.Great item. So fun and easy and quick. Going to use for ornaments. Customer service was great!Muy satisfecha con el producto. Very generous supply of crystals, so no fears about not completing each project. Would def recommendI have purchased several kits for my daughter to make keychains for her charity stall. Unfortunately, this kit was disappointing. The elephants are lovely, and that is what drew us to this particular kit. However, they are not very strong at all and are made from thin black plastic. The other kits are very robust and are made from heavy-duty clear plastic much thicker than this.This kit wasn't one of the cheap ones either, the seller needs to look at the pricing of other kits available, or they will lose customersThis diamond painting kit makes five hearts and five elephants. The final product is pretty and was fun to make, and the kit came with an intricate assortment of gems and the right tools. However, I'm not that impressed considering the £15.99 I paid. Several of the shapes were misprinted/cut so that they are not centred on the card (See photo). The adhesive on them was weak and did not reach the edges on all the pieces, meaning I had to use my own glue to finish some of them. While the card they are printed on is thick, the adhesive is weak, and even once I had sealed them with Modpodge, I wouldn't risk using them as keychains. They just wouldn't be durable enough and wouldn't last long. However, I've decided to use them as ornaments on a year round ornament tree I have, and they give a very nice effect! Overall, not terrible but not perfect either.These are beautiful, and make an ideal hobby ,when complete make lovely gifts or buy a few packs and sell them.
