This is a very handy talking clock which tells you the hour. I use it with the JiGMO Voice Activated Digital Recorder to let me know more reliably the time of each recording. Together it has been a great setup and worked well. This key chain clock must be placed some distance from the recorder though because the recorder is sensitive and the clock is very easily heard. I bought this to help someone who has dementia and cannot tell time anymore. Has worked great for that purpose as well. Very easy to use and has been reliable.Update: Jan 12 2020 Clock is still working as well as the day l purchased it. Have changed the batteries several times and learned to use the screwdriver to push the buttons on the back to set time, alarm on off, etc. and it makes better contact than using my finger. Have bought one for myself because as l age, those afternoon naps seem to get longer and have woke up after it's dark, and the clock tells you the time p.m. so you don't wake up disoriented thinking you've slept a day away. Also, l seem to lose track of time when l'm on the pc and it reminds me hourly what time it is.
