The actual Watt that were generated and charging time are affected by many factors from light condition, angle of the panel, power station and more. 200w is a theoretical number that was tested in laboratory. I live off grid and for power I have a Bluetti AC200 Max with 2- b230 attached batteries. Slightly over 6100 Watt hrs. Initially not knowing better bought 7 supposedly 280 watt panels for my array, cheap china panels $125ea. from EB, huge mistake! They started as max 90 watt panels though they had a 280 watt rating by seller. 90 still worked as I have a gas generator backup to aid in charging and occasionally to pull the full load. 1 month later those panels now each put out a max of 27 watts each which does not work for me! Worthless cheap degraded crap, stay away from those! I have ordered 4 of these 200 watt panels and have only backyard tested them, and so far they are amazing!!! Max wattage of 181watts each, steady at 150-170 watts at 21-23 volts in sunny conditions, perfect size 3 panel folding light weight panels! Easy to setup MC4 to XT 60 connectors. I use XT 90 into my Bluetti so Had to buy $9 worth of adapters, no biggie. I have reserved 1 star as I am yet to see how quickly these panels degrade, and want to test customer service and their one year unconditional warranty if they do. They seem to be of much higher quality than my first 7 cheap panels, so I have high hopes! I agree with the previous reviewer that noticed a close resemblance to the Bluetti SP 200 panel in build and quality, the VCUtech panel being a bit less expensive currently. Once all 4 suitcases arrive and I have a chance to daisy chain them and connect to a 30 foot extension cable I will update my evaluation. So far I am super pleased these seem to be of as good or better quality than any of the major solar generator maker's portable top of the line panels!UPDATE:I have just come back from a week off grid and am less enthusiastic about the panels then my initial backyard testing review. I still feel these are a quality solar suitcase panel, but here are a couple of things I discovered that has tempered my view of them. First the MC4 connections seem to have very brittle locking tabs, as I broke off 2 of 8 on 2 panels within a couple of days. Not a deal breaker, but never broke one off my previous 7 cheap panels in 2 months of continuous use. Second and more importantly I was rather disappointed with the wattage output at my offgrid property. Initially in my backyard test when new I consistently made 150 to 170 watts on a clear day at the noon hour. At my property that dropped to an average of 95-100 watts. I believe it has a lot to do with how hot the panels get. Temps were in the high 80's to low 90's. No panel like high temps, but these seem to have a very high adversion to high temps. Last, and very disappointing was when I daisy chained 2 of these identical 3 panel suitcases together. Initially with one panel at about 2pm, crystal clear day and no shade 90 degrees. One panel 100 watts steady with 1 degree variance both ways. I hooked to it the second suitcase, and the input voltage doubled to 42 volts while the output wattage only increased by 30-35 watts!!! Indivdually each panel made nearly identical output wattage. Not until they were daisy chained did the setup become truly unimpressive. I hope to talk with VCUtech about this issue, as I have two more of these suitcases unopened that I intended to put into service, but not at only 30 additional watts per suitcase. It may be that these were not designed to be hooked in multiples in serial fashion. I will report back again if I find a resolution.Final update: I discovered a wiring issue with one of the panel suitcases which was hampering the performance when hooked up in series. These panels have been put through serious hard world real life testing in the past month. These panels have lived in harsh temps, robust wind and some rain. As of yesterday I tested these panels at 1 pm in 102 degree temps completely clear skies. 4 suitcases wired in series over 1 hour produced an average watts, 640 measured in 5 minute increments. This is 160 watts per suitcase over an hour in high heat! Customer service is very good, everytime I called Eddie answered the phone and was ver helpful! I will go out on a limb here as longevity of these panels over the long term has still yet to be proven. I am changing my rating of these solar suitcases to a 5 star! The only downside is those MC4 connector tabs which are brittle and now broken off on 3 of 4 panels. Just a resin issue at the factory and cheap to replace! I now highly recommend these panels as I have used them more in a month then most will give them in a year!I bought this VCUTECH 200 watt solar panel to charge up a portable power station, and I am thrilled with my purchase! I've owned this one for several weeks now, and I own a few other different types and brands as well. This is the best performing of all of them. The quality is top notch, and it is so easy to put up and take down, because it is foldable and light weight. I am very happy with the design of this, and I find it to be rugged, efficient, well made and the three kickstands are strong and well placed. It feels stable enough to stand up to strong winds for sure. I love the high efficiency of this unit, and I am always getting over 150 watts in good sun conditions, and have seen it as high as 183 watts briefly so far. The sun is so high in the sky this time of year (August), but it is also a very humid and hazy time of year, plus many people do not realize that all solar panels heat up the most at this time of year, and the hotter a solar panel is, the lower the efficiency is going to be. So I am really looking forward to see what kind of numbers I will get in the fall and winter, since solar panels tend to be more efficient in cool and even cold temperatures. I would have thought it would be the opposite! It is a little confusing to understand in the description, but this panel comes with a cable coming out of it that is at least six feet long, compared to the typical three foot cable you will find on almost all others. It has MC-4 connectors on the end of it, which is very typical and universal and is perfect. I bought a 20 foot MC-4 to MC-4 extension cable to be able to reach farther, and connected that to the MC-4 connectors from the solar panel cable. It also comes with a shorter three foot cable that is MC-4 to XT60, but this may not be what you need to be able to connect to your particular power station, and in my case I needed the three foot MC-4 to Anderson cable that came with my power station and I used that. So I have a total of 29 feet of cable from the solar panel to my power station and this works well for me. I may even add more cable at some point This is a great deal at the current price. In my opinion, there is nothing else of this quality available at this price, not even close, so I am going to be buying more of them as time goes on.The previous reviewers of this product are spot on! Set this up today and connected to my RV via a HQST (Renogy) MPPT 20A controller which has Bluetooth and pushed 9.4 amps into my new 100AH Lithium battery! That lithium battery went from 70% to 99% in less than 2 hours with every 12 volt item in the trailer running (Jensen TV with directv box (small inverter to power), all lights, fantastic fan on high. I am impressed with this! I just hope it lasts a long time, but for now I could not be happier!I am very pleased with my purchase with this good quality solar panel. For a brief second I hit 200 Watts out of a 200 W panel?! If I would not have saw it I wouldn’t have believe it.This portable solar panel set up is perfect for charging my solar generator. It’s lightweight and easy to set up and connect. Great value compared to others out there.Comparable to the Bluetti 200watt foldable panel.I am getting consistent 185W to 189W in full sun at high noon! This is a great solar panel. It's quite stiff and sturdy, yet quite lightweight. I highly recommend getting this panel if you are in the market for a 200W solar panel.
