This bar changes the appearance of a Honda VTX 1800 very dramatically.The stock handlebar from the factory has a great deal of "pullback" - about 14 inches - which moves the rider into a very upright position and makes the bar appear like "wheelbarrow handles".The Baron Xtreme has about 6 inches less pullback, and also appears very much less curved than the factory one, giving the motorcycle a purposeful, "drag bike" look. In addition, the handle grips are far more "perpendicular" to the bike's direction of motion, easing any strain on the rider's wrists caused by the need to "turn outward" to grab the factory grips.The 1.5" visible diameter also is much more to scale with this rather large motorcycle, and adds a lot more "tough guy" look to the bike.The ultimate vital add-on to this bar is to mount a 3" Baron tachometer with 1.5" mount right in the center of the bar. VERY impressive in appearance then.
